South Florida has an array of options when it comes to entertainment. It is home to the world famous art deco styled South Beach, boast over 5 Professional Golf Association (PGA) championship certified courses including the famous Doral Blue Monster, great offshore game fishing in charted vessels and personal guided tours of the Florida’s Everglades National Park which has been designated as a environmental protected region and is home to several rare species of wildlife.


Miami Carnival: (1st week in October)

The Miami Carnival has been an Annual Event since 1984.  Within two years of its inception, it had grown from a small neighborhood festival to an international event bringing live bands and calypsonians from the islands.  The present Carnival, the Caribbean Mardi Gras, has become the most popular Carnival in North America, with airline and hotel bookings being confirmed as early as November of each year for the following October’s Carnival.  The “Caribbean Carnival Circuit” starts in February with Trinidad & Tobago and ends in October with Miami. Other events surrounding Carnival include:

South Beach:

The majority of celebrities live on islands along MacArthur Causeway, which leads to South Beach, a.k.a. SoBe, Miami’s acclaimed district for naughty and nice. Two family attractions – Parrot Jungle Island and Miami Children’s Museum – have also moved along the bridge’s causeway in the vicinity of Miami’s busy cruise ship port. Ocean Drive, SoBe’s much-photographed street, faces a wide, bustling beach and is lined with its historic Art Deco gems.

Alligator Farm & Florida Everglades:

A trip to the alligator farm includes an exciting airboat tour into the surrounding Everglades and a walk around the farm to see the alligators, crocodiles, caimans, and wildlife. There is also a great display of local snakes along with some of the more exotic species of snakes from around the world. Professional Sports:
Miami is home to several high profile professional teams including the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, the NHL’s Florida Panthers and the 2006 NBA Champions Miami Heat. Tickets to see basketball stars such as Shaquile O’Neal and Dwyane Wade can be organised during your stay.
